Fixed Gas Suppression Systems

Fire Gas Extinguishing Systems are sophisticated systems for use in areas that need to be completely fire proof. Where companies have 'mission critical' or valuable areas to protect, gas suppression can be installed. The system is used within an airtight room. There are detectors linked to a panel in the same way as a normal Fire Alarm System, but if a detector is set off, the panel instructs a large container of gas to discharge. The gas must sit in the room for 10 minutes, hence why the room must be airtight. The gas suffocates the fire and extinguishes rapidly, without causing damage to valuable equipment. Perfect for server rooms and areas with rare artefacts (art collections and museums etc) and many other applications. |
